Board Officers

President: Virginia (Ginnie) Hays
Ginnie has been a chapter member for 6 years. She has previously served as chapter President (2008 – 2010), and before that she served on the program committee. Among her goals for the chapter in the coming two years, Ginnie would like to see our chapter grow in size and implement some educational sessions for FMP and CFM for those members that are seeking their accreditation.

Vice-President: Jessica Terranova
Jessica has been a member of IFMA for 5 years: 2005-2007 with the Boston Chapter, 2007 – 2008 with the Greater New York Chapter, and 2008-2010 with the Hudson Valley Chapter. She graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a BS in Facilities Planning and Management and has been an FMP for 4 years. She is currently employed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Senior Facilities Coordinator and has contributed to the expansion of the company and the implementation of an IWMS system. Jessica is eager to help our chapter grow in members and activities.

Secretary: Ann Marie Rossi
AnneMarie has been an IFMA member for two and half years and has been our Chapter’s Secretary for the last two years. She would like to see the organization grow in size and promote more networking opportunities with the membership.

Treasurer: Mark Dari
Mark joined our chapter 2 years ago as an associate member, and has become a sponsor of our chapter. He is interested in keeping our chapter moving forward in membership and with a sound financial position.

Chapter Administrator: Janet Estevez-Filardi
Janet has been a member of the IFMA Hudson Valley since 1996. She has served as Vice-President from 1997 to 1999, she has served as President from 1999 to 2002 and she has held the Chapter Administrator position from 2002 to the present and she was just recently reelected to Chapter Administrator.

Janet has been at Krasdale Foods, Inc since 1996.  She holds the position of Facilities Manager.  Krasdale Foods, Inc. is a wholesale food distributor serving the metropolitan area.  They are celebrating their 100th year! She also has worked at various other companies in NYC such as: Sales Promotion Associate at Estee Lauder Companies; Human Resources and Administration at Applied Graphics Technologies; and Assistant VP Administration at Court TV.

Member Chairperson: Ron Cognetta
Ron has been involved with IFMA Hudson Valley Chapter since 2003 serving as Programs Chairperson. He has been able to connect with great presenters who have very interesting topics. Ron will continue on as Chairperson on the Programs committee.

Ron is Director of Commercial Sales at Clancy Moving Systems, Inc.  Clancy Moving Systems employs over 160 packers, movers & relocation/logistical personnel.  Additionally Clancy Furniture Installation Services provides installation of new or used office, industrial or retail furniture to commercial furniture dealers and end users.  Clancy-Cullen Moving & Storage located in The Bronx, NY, (a Clancy Company) provides the same services as Clancy Moving Systems when union labor (Teamsters local 814) is required.  Clients include: The Royal Bank of Scotland, SAC Capital Advisors, Tudor Investments, IBM, GE, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Purdue Pharmaceuticals, Yale University School of Medicine, Yale University (Sterling) School of Chemistry and The NYU School of Law.

Chairperson Job Bank: David Eppinger
David has been an IFMA member since 1985, having started with the Greater NYC chapter.  He has been involved with our Hudson Valley Chapter since 1993.  He has helped with programs, membership, public relations.  He has most recently been Chapter Vice President, and Chapter President.  Currently, David is our Job Bank Chairman, and an active member of our Board.

David is involved in the Contract Office Furniture Industry, with over 30 years of experience.  He works with major national account clients across the U.S., and many local firms, providing interior furnishing solutions.  He has worked with Meadows Office Furniture since 2000 and is based in their Stamford CT office.  In addition to IFMA, David is involved as an officer in the Westchester Putnam Boy Scout Council; Temple Beth Elohim (Brewster NY); and in the Bresnan Bicycle Tour benefiting Special Olympics NY and Westchester ARC. Website Administrator: Lynn Amos
Lynn Amos began her career in Graphic Design over 25 years ago in the publishing industry. Once the internet became a viable communications medium she began designing for the web as well. Her marketing and graphic design has been in the office furniture industry for the last 10 years. Her connection with IFMA began because of her work with marketing and graphic design.

Lynn started her own business, Fyne Lyne Ventures, in 2006. Fyne Lyne Ventures provides search engine-friendly website design and uses WordPress to create websites that her clients are able to update themselves and which have integrated blogs. She also does design for all kinds of print communications.

Lynn grew up in Albuquerque, NM and moved to New York after graduating from college in 1981 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. She now lives in Peekskill, NY but visits New Mexico often and plans to build a LEED certified house on her little piece of land in the Sandia Mountains someday. Email: lynn@fynelyne.com

Community Liaison/ Marketing Chairperson: Cathy Sama
Cathy had attended Pace University in riarcliff Manor, NY and received her BA. She attended NYU 's certificate program in digital switches and PABXS with voice over IP. In addition Cathy attended Baruch College City of NY for her undergraduate in Law of Business Contracts. She was with Sprint for seven years and was the top producer of marketing and sales for seven consecutive years and was awarded President Club status every year with the most valuable player award.

She served on the Board of IFMA Hudson Valley for two terms and attended several leadership conferences throughout the country. In addition she attended a conference in Vancouver British Columbia for alternative energy utilization in large facilities.

Cathy's recent projects include nonprofit fundraising for the sick and underprivileged with her original compositions of music. She performed at the Presidential Inauguration on Capitol Hill for our military men and women veterans at the state capitol for Governor Jodi Riel. Through Cathy's public relations she helped with a large fundraiser at the Copley Plaza in Boston for people with Lou Gerics disease. Her website is www.magicalmusic.vpweb.com
