Board Officers President: Virginia (Ginnie) Hays Ginnie Hays started at Hitachi America, Limited in 1998. During those ten years, she has been promoted four times. Her responsibilities as Senior Manager of Facilities and Operations cover everything in the building, on the building and around the building. She often is the consultant (set-up/take-down) for other Hitachi properties and offices in other New York locations and in other states. Ginnie holds a Bachelors degree in Business from Fordham University. Vice-President: Cathy Sama Cathy has been in the Telecom Industry serving accounts such as Yale University, State of Connecticut, Duracell Battery, Massachusetts Mutual Life and other large facilities on the IT end. Cathy is an Integrated voice and Data Services/ Managing Partner. Cathy holds a degree in Cost Accounting from Westchester Community College and a BA from Pace University. Treasurer: Kevin Kingsland Secretary: Ann Marie Rossi Anne Marie has been with A & A Janitorial Maintenance in their Sales Force since 2000. A & A Janitorial Maintenance headquarters is located in Yonkers, New York and Miami, Florida. Prior to A & A Janitorial Maintenance Anne Marie was employed at Suburban Carting Corporation as the Executive Assistant to the Sales Manager. Other Administrative members and Committee Chairpersons Chapter Administrator: Janet Estevez-Filardi Janet has been at Krasdale Foods, Inc since 1996. She holds the position of Facilities Manager. Krasdale Foods, Inc. is a wholesale food distributor serving the metropolitan area. They are celebrating their 100th year! She also has worked at various other companies in NYC such as: Sales Promotion Associate at Estee Lauder Companies; Human Resources and Administration at Applied Graphics Technologies; and Assistant VP Administration at Court TV. Chairperson Programs Committee: Ron Cognetta Ron is Director of Commercial Sales at Clancy Moving Systems, Inc. Clancy Moving Systems employs over 160 packers, movers & relocation/logistical personnel. Additionally Clancy Furniture Installation Services provides installation of new or used office, industrial or retail furniture to commercial furniture dealers and end users. Clancy-Cullen Moving & Storage located in The Bronx, NY, (a Clancy Company) provides the same services as Clancy Moving Systems when union labor (Teamsters local 814) is required. Clients include: The Royal Bank of Scotland, SAC Capital Advisors, Tudor Investments, IBM, GE, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Purdue Pharmaceuticals, Yale University School of Medicine, Yale University (Sterling) School of Chemistry and The NYU School of Law. Co-Chairperson Programs Committee: Kate Whisler Kate Whisler has been with John Mini Distinctive Landscapes since June 1998 as a Sales and Design Consultant. She has a total of 21 years in the Landscaping industry throughout South and Central Florida and New York. Kate teaches a class on Green Plants for Green Buildings which is certified through the AIA for Continuing Education Credit and the program can be offered to Architects, Facility Managers, Building Owners, Property Managers, and Interior Designers. Email: katewhisler@johnmini.com Chairperson Job Bank: David Eppinger David is involved in the Contract Office Furniture Industry, with over 30 years of experience. He works with major national account clients across the U.S., and many local firms, providing interior furnishing solutions. He has worked with Meadows Office Furniture since 2000 and is based in their Stamford CT office. In addition to IFMA, David is involved as an officer in the Westchester Putnam Boy Scout Council; Temple Beth Elohim (Brewster NY); and in the Bresnan Bicycle Tour benefiting Special Olympics NY and Westchester ARC. Fyne Lyne Ventures is a marketing-oriented communications agency that makes it easy for a business to put up a custom website that supports their image. Fyne Lyne Ventures eases the transition from traditional marketing to digital marketing producing not only web sites but e-mail newsletters and online advertising as well as doing traditional graphic design projects. Lynn grew up in Albuquerque, NM and moved to New York after graduating from college in 1981 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art.
